Come join your neighbors, friends and elected officials the weekend of November 2nd in helping the Yuba City Sikh community celebrate Nagar Kirtan.

The weekend celebrates the teachings of Sikh scripture. In summary, those values include: believe in one God, work hard, share with others, along with the universal brother and sisterhood of mankind.

To honor the values of Sikhism, we invite you to partake in our celebration by joining us for all of the great events that we have planned. All faiths are welcome and encouraged to meet your neighbors. There is a spectacular fireworks show, an Open House with free lunch for you and your family, a guided tour of our Temple and some great speakers.

The weekend ends with the traditional Sikh parade through the streets of Yuba City.

One of the values we have as a community is what we call Seva, which means daily selfless service to humanity. And the value that gave spark to the Red Cross & other humanitarian aid organizations. In the spirit of Seva, the Sikh community is honored to provide free food and drinks to our visitors.
